update: it’s ok folks (mostly Ryan) – I just talked myself out of it. Less is more…or whatever.
I didn’t think it could be possible but apparently there are awesome napkins. I saw these over at design*sponge and freaked out a little. Then I realized we already HAVE napkins that we printed on with the Gocco. Ok so, these would be my second choice.

Too a little trip to Hobby Craft! Isn’t it pretty? This will hang somewhere outside so it won’t be lit up but I think it’ll still look nice. 5 more to go!

So this is what we ended up doing today – gluing little 11th’s on top of all the first’s. We couldn’t really do much about it. It does look pretty stupid but it’s stupid that the poor invites sat in customs for a week or something! We sent over half out today and the others will be hand delivered. It was a nice feeling after we left the post office all holding hands.
I literally JUST got home with the invite package and took this. My Mom also gave us the cuuutest dish towels from Blue Q, my favorite Jelly Bellies (juicy pear), lotion and lip glosses from (I think) my Aunt’s shop in Kauai, Tokyo Milk soap and of course our beautifully hand addressed wedding invite envelopes. SOOO happy! I looked through them and got all teary. So gay.
Also, it is the sunniest day ever. I think we’re going to steal the convertible parked across the street and drive it around all day. Kidding…maybe.
Florist and Dj are booked and another Bridesmaid is in. The little bits are slowly getting done but I keep finding things to do that are not on the list. I have a feeling that wont stop. AAAAND…

Remember my little crest drawing from last year? I made the one above the next day because I thought I rediscovered doodling. I was thinking about maybe doing some as table numbers. Then as I was thinking of different crest combos, I thought…what are people going to think when they’re seated at the raccoon and the rabbit, wolf and lamb, deer and I dunno… dino! No, but really. Maybe it is a little kiddie. Do I really need to incorporate our love for animals? I wish I could. I wish I could give each guest a little old school box of animal crackers. Some people just can’t have an Ostrich, ya know? Hey, there are cows on the other side of the parking spaces. And maybe after a few drinks they’ll all turn into party animals…haaa…haa. Ooookay.
These Polaroid scarves are very cool. I think some kind of galaxy photo would work really well.

I’ve had to redo the registry a little because of the lack of space here. It’s good though. Sometimes I go and look and wonder what the heck I was thinking putting spatulas on the registry. I’ve gone for a more gifty things. And instead of getting more items we’ll never have room for, I’ll just replace our old handed down things. Liiiiike…

Yes, I would like these things. I do need more artwork. Everything I like is in the US which means lots of international shipping costs. I need help with finding neat shops online out here in the UK. Ya know, more home shops. All I go to is Habitat and Ikea and I’m really sick of those now!
Movedish! We’re still unpacking, sorting out and building. I haven’t had internet in 5 days…kind of scary. Hopefully life will be back to “normal” soon.
